1 . We must capture the serial number. The easiest way to do so is to look at the bottom of the computer, or you can launch a CMD prompt -- This can be done from the "Enrollment Status Page" or the "Desktop".
To launch the CMD Prompt from the "Enrollment Status Page"
Dell -- Function + Shift + F10
Most Other Models -- Shift + F10
Enter the following command -- "WMIC BIOS GET SERIAL NUMBER" and press "Enter" -- Record the Serial Number
2. Navigate to: Microsoft Endpoint Manager Admin Center ***Be sure to have Global Admin enabled

3. Click the "Devices" blade:
4. Under "By Platform" -- Click the "Windows" blade:
5. Below "Windows Devices" click "Windows Enrollment"
6. This displays the "Windows Enrollment" page. Under "Windows AutoPilot Deployment Program" click "Devices"
7. You are now presented with an inventory of all "Windows AutoPilot Devices" in order to identify the device in question you must search via "Serial Number."
8. Search for the device using the "Serial Number" you captured in Step #1.
9. Now click on the device. The device details will be displayed on the right-hand side of the screen. Click device name in Azure AD device please copy the device ID of the device you are deleting
10. You will now conduct a series of device deletion steps. They must be performed in this order.
**Record the following on a notepad you will need for future steps.**
Associated InTune Device Name
Associated Azure AD Device ID
Serial Number of the Device
Delete the inTune Device
Delete the AutoPilot Device
Delete the Azure Active Directory Device
11. Delete the inTune Device by clicking the link for "Associated inTune Device"
Click "Delete"
You will then be prompted to confirm the deletion. Click "Yes"
There are two ways to confirm deletion has occurred. You will be presented with the "Delete initiated" icon with a green checkmark.
The next way is to refresh the screen to see if the device details are retrieved. The indication "Not found" shows that the device has successfully been deleted.
12. Now navigate back to "AutoPilot."
Devices -- > Windows --> Windows Enrrollment --> Devices --> Search by serial number
13. Now Select the "Device" and click "Delete"
You will again be presented with the familiar confirmation dialog. Click "Yes". This process may take 10-15 minutes.
You can check the "deletion status" by clicking the notification icon above.
You can proceed to the next step once you receive the "Device record successfully deleted" alert, also in the notifications
14. You will now navigate to -- portal.azure.com
15. Select "Azure Active Directory"
16. Then navigate to the "Devices" tab.
17. Now enter the Azure AD Device name that you recorded in Step #9
18. Select the device and click "Delete"
19. Confirm and click "Yes"
20. Deletion is by the "No Devices found" depicted below.
